The Bedouin people are one of the ancient nomadic communities in the area of Jordan, a country in constant mutation.
For centuries, their connexions to the Wadi Rum desert has been engraved in their traditions. But the advent of mass tourism in the region, and especially in one of the 7 wonders of the world, Petra, The Bedouins had to preserve their way of life, to adapt to the affluence of visitors.
We sometimes see them thru the desert or cross them in tourist sites selling merchandising, but you can still spot their camels from afar.
This is an homage to the Bedouin culture, as they thread along thru the challenges of modern life.
